About the Program

The Alvin H. Baum Family Network is an ongoing program that connects former Baum Scholarship recipients and Baum Interns to each other and the ongoing work of the Fund. Throughout the year, professional, intellectual, and social opportunities are offered in order to foster continued development in the lives of Baum Scholars and Interns.

About the scholars and interns

After being selected for a Baum Scholarship or Internship at Loyola University Chicago, UIC John Marshall Law School, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, University of Illinois College of Law, or through Big Brothers Big Sisters, students automatically receive lifetime membership to the Alvin H. Baum Family Network.

Baum Scholars and interns demonstrate an ongoing commitment to service, leadership, innovation, and social justice. Among our current network are Attorneys, Academics, Consultants, and Executive Directors working for a variety of causes such as health, human services, education, housing, and environmental issues.
